Valentine's day writing competition - single life v/s committed life.

We conducted a writing competition on the  topic given above as part of our  association programme in our first semester. It was conducted in the very first week of february. Students from all departments took part in the competition.

The result was announced on february 14. Shifania from the Commerce option grabbed the first prize. The second and third prize were won by Suraj. U from maths option and Akhil. K. R from physical science option respectively. The prizes were distributed soon after the completion of the programme.

The competition was very interesting and the participants were able to express their emotions through the lines that they penned. Everyone got surprised to knew that the college union was conducting a Valentine's programme in the campus. Thus our competition become a cherry on the cake.

  ⛵️  LIFE OF PI ⛵️ - Yann Martel ⛵️Life of pi is a philosophical fiction with an open ending which makes us wonder of the love we seek in different forms.Richard Parker is a depiction of our fears which keep us alert and our sensitivity which is often unrealistic. The story has many layers to it, and it unravels slowly and in somewhat a confused pattern how we perceive the world. Although fictious , it is shown in a spectacularly realistic manner in which no one is an island, and are seeking the meaning of life. 🐅Richard Parker is an animal, a vicious carnivore from who the boy is expecting love. In the end , when the tiger doesn't look back, he remembers his father's words,that one sees oneself in the tiger's eyes.Overall the story was able to capture vivid feelings of a teenage boy🧑 who felt lost in this world and the tiger for the story as l read was inspired from three different instances and leaves the reader in a state of cognitive dissonance.⛵️ 🐯The 227 days wit

🏫 Internship phase 2🏫

  Week 5 💫The week 5 has started.💫 ⚗️🧪I helped Jency miss to arrange and exhibit different experiments mentioned in the science textbook.🧬🔬🔭 We also helped teachers to create and distribute temporary identity card for up and high school students. There was a special school assembly as part of the "World Population Day". Abhinand sir delivered a speech and awareness class regarding the same.🌏🗺️ An Arabic talent examination was conducted in the school for high school students. I also took textbook activities for 10th standard students.📖 As part of JRC, a quiz competition was conducted by the school. The topic was Indian history and freedom fighters.📜📜 We took the students to the library to enhance their reading skill.📚  There was a special assembly about malala day conducted by scout and guide.👧🏻👧🏻 We helped teachers to sort out new admission from the register with their full details.📔 The most appreciative👏 one is that a student distribute sweets🍬🍬 on paper
