⛵️ LIFE OF PI ⛵️
-Yann Martel

⛵️Life of pi is a philosophical fiction with an open ending which makes us wonder of the love we seek in different forms.Richard Parker is a depiction of our fears which keep us alert and our sensitivity which is often unrealistic. The story has many layers to it, and it unravels slowly and in somewhat a confused pattern how we perceive the world. Although fictious , it is shown in a spectacularly realistic manner in which no one is an island, and are seeking the meaning of life. πŸ…Richard Parker is an animal, a vicious carnivore from who the boy is expecting love. In the end , when the tiger doesn't look back, he remembers his father's words, that one sees oneself in the tiger's eyes.Overall the story was able to capture vivid feelings of a teenage boyπŸ§‘ who felt lost in this world and the tiger for the story as l read was inspired from three different instances and leaves the reader in a state of cognitive dissonance.⛵️

🐯The 227 days with the tiger seems a bit far fetched( not doubting the possibility, just hinting at practicality )and makes the reader doubt whether the boy was really losing his mind and the mysterious island supports this belief. 🏝️It is somewhat hard to imagine an island inhabited by lemurs which could never fall under the lens of human navigation;πŸ›Ά and the Idea of a teenage boy surviving a lightning and a shipwreck on a lifeboat breaks the continuity of the story by making it seem unreal. ⛵️On a lighter note , recommended for those who wish to sneak a peek at the wonders of this world from their cozy couches.🏝️🚀
