  " Behind every young child who believes in himself is a parent who believed first"✨️ It was the first time I am visiting an old age home with my friends as part of our association programme. We went to an old age home named as 'Sayeesham', which had twenty five elderly residents. They all  share many common and unique physiological and psychological factors. Initially we thought that the people over there would be experiencing a hard life. But the environment was a bit different than we expected. When we reached there, they were overwhelmed and I could see the happiness in their eyes. They looked happy, but still we can feel their pain of not being able to live with their dear ones. But still, it looked like a big joint family. They live loving each other there to convert their silence to sound, to give meaning to moments. Some talked while some smiled gently. College election in JBMCTE was on 15 February 2022. Our teachers arranged a special room for the election procedures. Election was started at 10 am. Vote counting started at 11 am in the college auditorium in the presence of all teachers and students.  Re-election conducted for two posts , Nature club and women cell secretary. Divya miss announced the results. From our maths department Vishnu was Elected as chairman , Suraj as General secretary and Anu lekshmi as vice chairman. Totally this election was a good experience for us.

    " There is only one happiness in life : to love and to be loved". Valentine's day writing competition - single life v/s committed life. We conducted a writing competition on the  topic given above as part of our  association programme in our first semester. It was conducted in the very first week of february. Students from all departments took part in the competition. The result was announced on february 14. Shifania from the Commerce option grabbed the first prize. The second and third prize were won by Suraj. U from maths option and Akhil. K. R from physical science option respectively. The prizes were distributed soon after the completion of the programme. The competition was very interesting and the participants were able to express their emotions through the lines that they penned. Everyone got surprised to knew that the college union was conducting a Valentine's programme in the campus. Thus our competition become a cherry on the cake. Prize distribution

  A sad news it is indeed that has taken Lata Mangeshkar away from us. But her legacy lives on in her songs that are incomparable in their unmatched sweetness and soul-touching capacity. Here are a few life lessons from a life lived extraordinarily. Each of us was really shocked to learn the truth that Lataji is no more. Our teacher asked us to organize a small event to honor and commemorate her legacy. Jyothi miss sang the famous song from Dil Wale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge which was sung by her. Many of us sung some of her famous Malayalam and Hindi songs such Kadali chung kadali, bavaraman...etc. We portrait some pictures as a tribute to her.

✨️" wrítíng íѕ thє pαíntíng σf vσícє" ✨️ We the English option students began our first programme by sharing all our passions and talents under one umbrella. The association programme was inaugurated by our principal Rekha ma'am. Our first programme was an e-magazine consisting of ten poetry and five sketches. The e-magazine was launched by the association secretary Amritha Mohan on 2nd February 2022 at 2.22 pm. It was a colourful flip book named ' Hues ', which grabbed both the eyes and heart of everyone in the college. All our teachers and friends appreciated us for treating them with such a wonderful feast.
