Kaleidoscope

  Week 4  This week has offered a different opportunity for us.🤩 We cleaned 🧬Science Laboratory.🔬⚗️ We were following our lesson plans  📄accordingly. Our teachers came for conducting observation. 👩🏻‍🏫They had showered us with positive comments. Our ' Principal in Charge', Manikantam sir got promotion as HM to a nearby govt.school🏫 We were invited for his farewell function🎖️ We were able to hear their experiences related with their teaching career.😇 Our school celebrated "Basheer Day" on july 5 th. 🏫 We had our concerned classes, discipline duty, substitution classes and mid day meal duty. 

  🏫Our school celebrated Basheer day 5th july 2023. Special assembly was conducted by the high school students whereas lp and up students deliver the visual treat.🏫 The assembly includes prayer, pledge, news, speech, facts, an introduction to Basheer's life, autobiography... etc..💫 The performance of lp and up students were conducted in the auditorium. A lot students were participated in tableau. A skit was performed by students of 5 th standard, a portion taken from "Paathummante aadu". Drawings and caricatures were collected and conduct an exhibition. 💝

  week 3   The week has started with an auspicious function as part of Anti Drugs day.🥃🍻 The school has organised a procession, speech contest, pledge as part of it. The function was mind-blowing.😇 There was an excellent flash mob conducted by selected students under the guidance of counsellor.  On the second day,  we had a meeting session with other teachers about the discipline and other duties in the school.🍃 On the third day, we took part in a counselling session. 🍂 I got an opportunity to take class in 10 th. I took the chapter Banyan tree from unit 1 for them. We got morning discipline duty as well as afternoon mid day meal duty. I enjoyed the duties.

Week 2 Our second week has started.we started following lesson plans.📔  The public library of Oachira has conducted an exhibition on Reading day.📖 📒The school has conducted a special assembly as part of Reading Day Celebration.📑  Students has conducted speech programme as part of Reading day🗞️📚 We helped teachers to arrange students into different clubs. 👦🏻 I got substitutions in different classes, which paves an opportunity to interact with other students in the school.👧🏻 We took part in the mid day meal scheme too. 🍱

We conducted a poster making competition for Lp, Up and high school section seperately💫. The common topic for the competition was 🌍" Save Earth for our children ".🌏 Students were eagerly participated in the competition. 👩🏻‍🏫Jency miss, Abhinand sir 👨‍🏫and Chameli miss👩🏻‍🏫 took incharge as judges. They selected first and second from each section.🎖️🏆 Akshay from class 4th 🥇and adithya from class 2nd 🥈won first and second in Lp section. Arunima from class 6th🥇 and anjana from class 7 🥈won the Up section. Ajmal from class 8th 🥇and Niranjan from class 10 th 🥈won the high school section. We distributed the prizes to the winners in the next assembly. 🏆🏆

Week 1 Our second phase of School Internship has started. 🏫We reached the school at 9:30 am. I was already familiar with the school environment as I had my first phase of internship at the same school. we were allotted to the respective classes. 👩🏻‍🏫We took part in assembly.   We took part in mid- day meal scheme.🍱 UP section has conducted an exhibition, which includes art and craft, pictorial representations, charts and models. 🎐 A counselling class was also conducted for up and high school session for reducing the negative attitude of students against learning.👦🏻👧🏻 School is in the  festival spirit, as Oachira kali has as much importance to the place.

  📑TOPIC :- PROBLEMS FACED BY ADOLESCENT GIRLS ON ATTENDING CLASSES DURING THEIR MENSTRUATION PERIOD - A SURVEY STUDY.📄  For the above study, I selected closed-ended questions as my tool. I prepared 30 questions under two objectives. Objectives (1)  To understand the problems faced by adolescent girls on attending the classes during their menstrual periods. On the basis of analysis, the investigator interpret that majority of students are not conscious about menstrual hygiene. Most of the students are not happy with the school atmosphere during menstruation. Majority of the students said that they did not get proper sanitation facilities or rest room in the school compound. Transportation became a burden for most of the students during their menstruation. Majority students are not aware about the “She pad scheme” in India nor do they take advice from a gynecologist about menstrual problems.
