A field trip to krishnapuram Palace
On January 18, we made our second field trip to Krishnapuram Palace, Kayamkulam. Nisha miss, Chithra miss and Divya miss were guiding us. We reached the palace at 10 o'clock. Even though the palace is located near the highway, it keeps a calm atmosphere. It is a place to experience both the palace and heritage museum. When we entered the premises, the palace was encircled by a terraced garden with a Budha Mandapam, fountains, ponds and lawns. Palace is built in the typical Kerala constructed architectural model - in "Pathinarukettu", which includes four "Nalukettu". Due COVID-19 pandemic situation, we had to complete our visit in a limited time. There are many staff guides for conveying details and information about each part of the palace to us.
