  🍛Food on our plate is a god-gifted blessing and one of the best feelings in this world. 🍱Every meal is a chance to feel connected to the earth. Everyone has the right to consume good food.🍚🥗 🍲Most people don't realise how often they waste food and the negative impacts it can have for food security, the environment, and climate change.🥙🥪 Reducing food loss and waste could benefit them, their families, and the world, now🥧 and in the future.🥪🌮🌭 Over one billion people in the world even live today in the unacceptable conditions of poverty and starvation.🍔🥞🥗 🧆We took the initiative to distribute meals for those who were wandering in the kayamkulam bus stand.🍱🍛🥗 They became very happy and smiled at us wholeheartedly which we felt as the most beautiful gift.😇😇

  On our new semester we came up with an innovative idea. Since we are literature students we decided to organise a classroom library. All of us have brought fictions and other works from our collections. In our classroom, we set up a library and asked everybody to visit our library weekly inorder to collect books. Everybody showed great enthusiasm and they went through all those works that we have included in our library. Some of they have collected some works among them.

We celebrated reading day on 15 th June 2022📚. The reason behind celebrated this day to promote the reading culture and support literacy. All the students and teachers were assembled at the college auditorium. Our principal Rekha ma'am delivered a speech about the importance of reading. Our teachers and the students presented a tribute to the great PN panicker , the father of library movement in Kerala. Reading gets our mind working across different areas💥.We conducted reading competition and all of the students participated well💫.As part of this programme, the children took turned into groups and performed a visual presentation of some of the famous poems. It was the highlight of this event❤️.The program was fruitful to all of us🥰.

  We have celebrated reading day on june 15, 2022. As part of this celebration, we have organized an exhibition. The exhibition started from 12 noon. Our principal Rekha ma'am inaugurated the function. In our exhibition, we tried to include major works belonging to different genres, such as anthology, poetry, novels etc. The collection contained major works that comes under diasporic writing, Indian literature, feminist writings, travelogues etc. There were some works which belonged to the contemporary literature. Pupils belong to every option has visited our classroom and become part of our programme. They showed keen interest in exploring all those genres. They admired every writers despite of their ethnicities. Exhibition turned a great success and it spread light into the world of literature.

  Our college celebrated environment day . Our principal Rekha ma'am planted a sapling in our college ground . Department wise ramp walk competition was conducted in connection with the environment day celebration. All students and all teachers planted saplings in their own home. 

  The Talent Days are an eventful occasion. The talents day is designed to allow all students to exhibit their special interest in dancing, singing, acting or some other area. Talent Day is a special event, what makes it special is not only the excitement it brings but the great experience to be lived. Our principal Rekha ma'am arranged a Talent day programme for us on 3rd June 2022. All of us had an opportunity to present  our Talents . All students done well. It was an interesting  and enjoyable programme.

Our college union Eakshaa conducted a Red spot campaign in connection with menstrual hygiene day on 28 may 2022. Today, millions of women and girls around the world are stigmatised, excluded and discriminated against simply because they menstruate. It’s not acceptable that because of a natural bodily function women and girls continue to be prevented from getting an education, earning an income and fully and equally participating in everyday life.
