Kaleidoscope

  The students were busy with their examinations..we were allotted to the exam hall..it made us realize the responsibility of a teacher. We were able to join the mid day meal scheme. During the last day, they organised Xmas day celebration.. I learnt how to coordinate students and enable them to perform well. More over we joined a campaign conducted in the school regarded with drug abuse.

  On 17th December 2022 we the JBMCTE Kayamkulam has arranged a freshers day for interacting with juniors. The programme started at 12 pm at the college auditorium and the function was inaugurated by our respected college principal Rekha ma'am. The programme was organized and conducted by second year students. It was a very nice programme all enjoyed well and had a great moment. The programme helped to make a good relation between first years and second years . All of us enjoyed it thoroughly and first years has done a great job . They take every task without any hesitation and in a sportive way.

The second terminal exam has started on this week.Students were busy with their studies. We were alloted to exam hall on each day. This has helped us in developing an idea regarding the duties that a teacher should handle. Moreover it helped us to remain more responsible. Since High School students are free from classes we were asked to teach LP students. We taught them some of the major lessons. We joined the mid day meal scheme also.

The first week offered us some unique experiences. Our teaching practice began on 5 th December. On the first day itself we were asked to accompany the students who were selected for the competition oraganised by the Public Library Council of Oachira panchayat. We came across a lot of students who took part in various competitions. It made us realize how to identify the individual talent of each students. As part of a campaign ,in their assembly these students were given Deshabhimani newspaper. It was meant to inculcate the values of reading among children.We were able to participate in that campaign also. Later ,on 6 th December some students were appreciated for gaining first place in a quize competition conducted in their school as part of 'Jalajeevan' programme. It was intended to gain insight regarding the various realms that a teacher should confront in her life . We were able to join midday meal scheme along with them.
